Yellow Portuguese Moke

Post by Weske »

Hi,

here some info about our Yellow Portuguese Moke - 1988 8) (waiting until the Aussie has finished, hopefully this summer)
already set up for the imm. Just put a new engine in last month. I already did 1100km, 20th may we go to Lithuania.
I want to do 2000km before 20th may, then i think it is ok.

Here are the specification of the engine:
1310cc with SW5 Cam timed in 107degrees full lift.
Standard stroke. Lightened backplate. Orange spot diaphragm.
Fully balanced rods and pistons and crank and flywheel assembly.
Head converted to unleaded slightly ported.Stage 3 head.
Valve springs to match cam. Standard rockers.
MG distributor electronic (Metro)
Gearbox
5626standard Metro 'A'+ geartrain with3.4 diff completely rebuilt.

a good friend in England did the job for me, together with this company http://www.robwalkerengineering.co.uk

In a other topic you can read that i now look for good seats, yesterday in a Belgian rally i have broke the back support.

Cheers
Wesley
