Apologies if I've missed it, but a disadvantage of Glycol is that its flammable - not unlike meths.

Not seen any update in the Mini World mag, anyone else tried it? I'm still on water/antifreeze mix and after the engine rebuild she's running at 88 to 92 degrees C even in 30 odd degrees heat at the moment.
As for the corrosion problem with the normal coolant, when my engine was stripped it appears that number 4 cylinder was not getting much coolant round it due to the build up of thick solid brown 'stuff' rust particles I presume!
I wouldn't want it running any higher than that as every thing else under the bonnet would be getting that temp or near to it as well.
Seems the Water Wetting fluid is not as good as advertised then? i.e. a drop of 5 - 10 degrees 'should' be achieved?
Interesting to review these products before binning the idea.
Cheers
