Post by Lindandy »

Hi all, I know it's early on but you have to apply early to be included for this fantastic event and I'm pleased to say that the Mini Moke Club have been accepted! So if you want to be included then please let me know. We had 14 Mokes this year.....I'd like to have 20 next time......wait to hear from you! All the best Andy.

We live in hope!

Andy, please could you pencil me in? I may struggle to be there having been in London for the last NYE but just in case.

Thank you for all your hard work on this.

Hello
I am new to the club and also to forums and don't really understand how they work. However I am interested in joining you at the New Years Day Parade. Could someone get back to me with more details and whats involved. I did chat to a couple of the committee about it at the Bristol IMMM weekend but I cannot see the name of the person they told me to contact in the committee list or anywhere else on the web site.
Cheers
David

Hi Andy. Definitely put me in please. Thinking of staying in London that night as it is a long ( cold & wet ) trip down from Leicestershire with a magic day in the Parade (cold & wet ) HAHAHA . We will get a Travelodge cos they accept our doggie & it's a decent bed .

Hi all, I'm off to the organisers meeting on the 27th November and will be posting details on this site. However I do know that if you want to trailer your Moke in behind a campervan then you can have free parking on Millbank the night before. If you want to take advantage of this then please let me know ASAP with details of your vehicle so that I can inform the powers that be. Andy.

Hi All,

I notice a comment in the latest mag 169 regarding the ULEZ charges for cars taking part,I dont think any organisers exemption is required?

If you check the TFL ULEZ site, cars before 1973/ registered as historic vehicles are exempt from the charge?.

regards James

You're right James but there's some mokes, mine for instance, 1982 that were registered after 1973. When I first applied for the lnydp, the organisers said that we would not have to pay the ulez charge. I will confirm that that is still the case at the meeting on the 27th November. Andy.
