Great to get the details of the National.
This is the second event where the base will be a 'touring park'. This means quite a hefty price for those camping, almost the same rate as a camper van/ caravan. Looks like this one will be around £24 per night. I know that there are not many of us camping now but is this to be the new trend?

HI Graham
Am I being stupid ? ( as usual ) Following your directions I attempted to book 4 nights from 16th and was quoted £136 for a tent. In fact all types of accommodation was £136. This equals £34 a night for a tent of any size.
There is nowhere to enter booking Ref
Please advise where I'm going wrong as I am not paying that amount for a tent
Thanks John

Hi John,
I've just tried booking 4 nights and it comes out at £98. this is still £24.50 per night for whatever size of tent, electric or not, awning or not. Same price as a caravan or camper van!
Never been charged this much for a small piece of grass, will be looking round for alternatives, same goes for the event on Tees Side, tent is £26 per night. I do hope this is not going to become the norm!

I checked again this morning , its still coming out at £136 for 4 nights. On IMM travels , We have paid this much but pitches were huge and we shared 2 and sometimes 3 on a pitch.

Hi Guys and Girls. We have contacted the Campsite over the tent thing. The site have said the prices stand, as it is high season.

Hi, Guys and Girls. Just to keep you informed, as of Monday 11th May. The campsite for the National is hoping to reopen on July 4th. Obviously this is and will be under review, pending further UK government announcements. We will keep you informed.
