If you are running an alternator you do not need a voltage regulator. That is internal in the alternator.

There will be a separate one for the instruments though. It’s usually fastened to the back of the speedo.

Hi Doug. Do you have an Alternator or a Dynamo?

Hi Doug. As you have an alternator you will need to look for the regulator behind the Speedo. Would be worth changing anyway, as the new ones are solid state rather than Bi-Metal. You should have a Negative earth Moke, so use one of these :- http://www.somerfordmini.co.uk/eshop/in ... ts_id=4919

I fee I should ask as it’s not been mentioned yet, but why are you looking for a regulator?

Doug, Early Australian Mokes used an alternator that has a seperate regulator, i.e. not built into the alternator. You need to work out which type you have before you spend any money.
