Or me John!
I'm looking round the area for B & B but not found anything at a reasonable price, I suppose it's because its near Barnard Castle. As you say John not practical for campers if the toilets and showers will not be available.
The other problem is - will it still be on given the current situation is not getting any better?

Surely their facilities will be online by the time of our 'Treat'.
Perhaps my 'dining buddy' will make some pressing enquiries to the same and let us all know, as it may have a negative impact on the number of Mokers who can attend, and that would be an awful shame !

If the event still takes place , I will probably join "Camping & caravan club " who have a camp site 6 mins away from Doe Park. Then I can get discount rates at their sites all season

Hi John,
I'll give the Doe Park a call in the morning and see what the score is. If it remains the same I'll go for plan B and join with you !
Best for 21

So John
I spoke with Doepark staff, and they said toilets and showers are closed at the moment, because the Park is actually closed, but they hope the shower block etc to be open by the time we are scheduled to be there. They said they would update their website and facebook page as soon as there was a change.
So I for one am going to stick with plan A for the foreseeable future.

Re: Teeside Treat FridayMay 28th - Monday 31st may
As I am camping , I asked if their facilities will be open & this is their reply :-
" I'm afraid that decision is out of our control and Government will let us know when we can open up our shared facilities. I would like to think we would be allowed tp have them open but no difinite answer until mid May.
Sorry I can't be more specific.
Kind Regards
Alison "
Knowing this and fully aware there will be a huge demand for staycation holidays , I'm going to book Camping & Caravan Site which is 6 mins away from Doe Park.
Hope this helps tent members

Re: Teeside Treat FridayMay 28th - Monday 31st may
Just had a call form Doe Park, who informed me that they have just received notification from Central Government & Local Council, that they are not authorised to open up the Park!
Any suggestions?

Hi Guys and Girls.
Due to events out of the Moke Club's control, and to comply with restrictions from various organisations. We have had to cancel this event, and will look at rescheduling it next year.

Could we not push the event back to later this year? I appreciate that it's Simons gig so I guess it may be down to him and his clan. Just a suggestion?
