Grandfather's axe

Post by Doug G »

Grandfather's ax - I have only replaced the head once and the handle three times.

Well since I took over the caretaking/ownership of the Mini Moke I seem to have replaced a bunch of things.

At what point does it become a new Mini Moke or is it like the ship of Theseus ?
[According to Aristotle, the “what-it-is” of a thing is its formal cause, so the ship of Theseus is the 'same' ship, because the formal cause, or design, does not change, even though the matter used to construct it may vary with time.]
