The front wheels not perfectly vertical.
What do I have to adjust?

Re: Front wheels not totally vertical.
You make it sound like just one of them. Is this correct or do you mean both of them?

Re: Front wheels not totally vertical.
The only adjustment available on a stock mini is toe and castor. Camber is only adjustable if you changed the lower arms to ones that you can adjust.

Both. But one looks like it leans a little bit more than the other.Nigel(no top)Sykes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 16:56 You make it sound like just one of them. Is this correct or do you mean both of them?
Will have access tonight as all the wheels will be removed to have [EDIT] the tires replaced. See separate thread.

Re: Front wheels not totally vertical.
Like Willie says.
Although there is one possibility…..if the suspension is too high this will cause the wheels to lean outwards at the top, you usually only get this when you’ve gone overboard with the adjustment on the hi-lo’s though.
And……theatres ?!!!

Re: Front wheels not totally vertical.
They are leaning inwards at the top. IE negative camber.

A little bit of negative camber is normal and a good thing for better handling too.

This is worth a watch.

Its Edd China, fixing the front suspension in his Outspan Orange. I used to think he was a tosser when I watched that show he was in, but he's pretty good in this. Its sort of split across two episodes (this is the second one) but he goes through how the Mini suspension works and shows how to fit adjustable suspension and then adjust it.
cheers
