Cumbrian Canter May 2022

We have had to change the date for this event, due to the number of advanced bookings that camp sites are taking for the May Bank Holiday, plus the significant increase in costs being charged by camp sites and B&B’s. We have decided to move the event to the second or third weekend of May. David, the organiser, will be doing a further recce run in January. Those of you already registered will receive an update from David. When we have all the details for the event, these will also be posted on the Forum and Web site. The date for the weekend has been now set as the 13th - 15th May. Wallace Lane Farm Campsite https://www.wallacelanefarm.co.uk/ is on the North side of the Lake District National Park, a few miles from Wigton. Motorhome pitches are hardstanding with electric for £26 and camping for tents is £23 no electric, all prices based on two people. There are some glamping pods too and the nearest hotel is the Oddfellow Arms in Caldbeck, where we hope to have a Saturday evening meal. Some Mokers will be there from the Thursday staying over until the Monday. Fingers crossed it will be good weather for some great Moke driving on fantastic lanes in stonking scenery.
