Fuel filter

Post by Paul D »

Hi all,
Having some great days out in the Moke but unfortunately yesterday on our way home from Bournemouth (Mac) the Moke started spluttering like it was being starved of fuel. It did this twice but happy to say we did manage to get home. I'm thinking could it be dirt in the fuel?
Had a look around and I can't see any fuel filter. Can anyone recommend which would be the best one to fit and where? Please.

There’s various prices for inline filters, I went for a bag full of cheap(ish) ones and change them fairly regularly. My favoured position is under the bonnet, it’s easy to put one between the metal fuel line and the rubber part and you can have a quick check every time you open the bonnet……and it’s easier to change them there than reaching into the side bin

Hi Nigel, Thanks for your reply.
Was hoping it would be this simple I'll get some filters ordered.
