Teesside Treat 17th - 19th June
Organized by Simon Harper and Family at Cotherstone, in Teesdale. This weekend will be based around the campsite of Doe Park ( http://www.doepark.co.uk/ ). Friday will be arrival with a Meet and Greet. Saturday will be a run out in the beautiful Teesdale area, with a barbeque on Saturday night. Sunday will have another run out, with a more formal evening meal, it is hoped, at a local hostelry. The campsite has reserved 20 pitches with hook up for us (cost is £27.75 per pitch per night), and they have requested we book for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. To assist the campsite, and ensure we are all placed together, can you please book before March 2022, when the site opens for the season, extended bookings will also be welcome. Book either by phone 01833 650302 or info@doepark.co.uk Please mention the Moke Club when you book. Although there is no mention of Tents, the site will take them for this event. Once you have made your reservation with the campsite, please email Simon Harper, simon.harper4268@gmail.com and please put Teesside Moke in the subject line.

Looking forward to our first event in nearly 3 years. Whose going?
We are staying at a cottage not far from the camp site and will be arriving on Thursday.
Also looking forward to seeing lots of moking friends again, it's been too long.
Just hoping the weather stays fine and WEE MOKE behaves!

Hi Simon and the rest of the Harper clan who worked with you to put on a fantastic weekend.
Not only was it good to catch up with those we haven't seen for a while, or the stunning beauty of the counties that we drove through, and the demands placed on us and our beloved Mokes, but the thought and perseverance you displayed on putting the event on. It mattered not the round trip of 624 miles, it was well worth it.
Total miles 987 !
Big thanks mate, looking forward to the next one!

Hi Simon and Family
Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We both enjoyed it, and good to catch up with everyone.
Once again thanks for a great time.

We may have only seen a third of it, but we thoroughly enjoyed our day trip out with the Harper clan. And I know it’s been said but the catch up time was good too.

Hi Simon,
Well done, those who have not organised an event do not realise the effort required. Pity the best of the weather was Thursday coming up and Monday going home! Never mind there was only a little semi wet stuff Sunday morning, even the wrong turning turned out great with the very pleasant farmer who even put his photos on FB! As well as the mini pick up owners!
Great to catch up with everyone after 3 years, looking forward to the National now!
All the best

Re: Teesside Treat 17th - 19th June
On returning from the event I found out that the problem of the coolant leak was the radiator cap but it was opening due to pressure from number 4 cylinder leaking past the head gasket to a water way, this was because one of the head studs had snapped!
On top of that I got a surprise in the post - a NOIP (notice of intended to prosecution) 35 in a 30 in a minute village on the way home! You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
