London to Brighton Mini Run

The LMSOC has announced that there will not be a London to Brighton Mini Run in 2024. It's hard to see that they will restart in 2025.

They cite spiralling costs, red tape, reduced parking at Brighton and numerous other restrictions, before they even considered the possible impact of ULEZ in both London and Brighton.

My sincere thanks to Chris Naish for all his hard work marshalling us all over the years. I've very much enjoyed meeting all my fellow Mokers taking part in the run.

That's a real shame ! I don't go every year as it clashes with IMM but have enjoyed it many times. The huge Dorset Steam Fair has ceased citing the same reasons.
