War of The Roses – Mini Moke Club Weekend
The weekend is now taking shape, and all the green lane runs and evening meal arrangements have been confirmed. The weekend will be based from Orcaber Camp site Austwick (please note, and we didn’t realise at the time of booking, but the campsite charge 50p for the showers).
In summary:
Wed/Thur/Frid people arrive at leisure to the campsite.
Friday afternoon, leisurely drive out through Gisburn Forest.
Friday evening, meal at the Game Cock Inn (1 mile walk from campsite)
Saturday morning, main run out for an exciting journey through Yorkshire Dales and Moors.
Saturday evening, Pizza night at Orcaber campsite, pre booking via their website is needed.
Sunday morning, various options, drive to Malham, Settle for pub breakfast, Devils Bridge butty van or Goat Gap Inn for sit down breakfast.
There are many places to go off exploring if you are planning an extended stay: Lakeland Motor museum, Settle village, Skipton town, Ingleton Falls, White Scar Caves and many more place.
For the Game Cock Inn on Friday evening. It is important if you are joining us to send your deposit as soon as possible.
Deposits of £10 per person are needed by 15th May 2024, and I need to submit the food pre-orders by 7th June 2024. This is a very busy and fine dining Inn, so I hope all of you will be joining us. Considering the size of our party the Game Cock have put together a selection of the menu for us, which I have attached.
We ask that you are all able to send the deposits as soon as possible.
Please message if you are interested.
Thanks
Roy
