The stuff I’ve had from them is unremarkable, no better no worse than others. It’s usually bought through their eBay ads. What does concern me is that unless you’ve already dismantled and checked the engine how do you know what size bearings etc to order?

It is a 1973 engine.

They are currently dismantling it to check numbers.

Yeah but if the journals are badly worn, the crankshaft will need to be ground down and polished, so you'll need undersized bearings. Likewise if the cylinder bores are worn they will need to be re-bored to a larger size, so you'll need oversize pistons and matching rings. If it all turns out to be fine then standard sizes will fit, but don't order them until you know how bad it is.

I've used Bull Motif before. They seemed fine.

As Tim says. I realise you want to get the parts in stock ready to go due to the long lead times you have but really it’s pointless until you know what’s inside the engine.
I also guess that you’re thinking “If they take it apart and have to then leave the collection of parts laying around how many will still be there when the parts arrive?”
