I hope you can get something sorted. In my opinion that particular era was when Mokes were at their best. They were still being built at the main factory at Victoria Park and were getting the 1100cc engines, which are a the pick of the small bores.

So I’m beginning to see the minefield of problems that I’ve got myself into. And at a loss with what to do next.
I have a Moke and I have its chassis number. That’s where I’m at as the v5 looks iffy ! When I took the car off road (sorn ) the automated response said was not taxed since 1983. So the seller has really told me a pack of lies.
I’m wondering if I should try sending the v5 back to DVLA to get the chassis number amended. If they don’t then maybe apply for a new v5 ? The cars history is lost as far as I can see so that’s not an issue. I just want to be able to use it.

Appreciate any thoughts on how I can move this forward
