Seat backs

Post by Doug G »

the seat back of the drivers seat on my Mini Moke broke this afternoon. :(

No it was not the excess weight of the individual (me) driving it.

Now to get it welded.

Time to lay off the "Mount Gay" Doug!
Just took at look at the photos of your Moke seats, they're not original equipment. What are they out of?

It would appear to be scrap cr@p !

Actually they are made from tubular steel. :?

PS It was not the thrust of the acceleration that threw me back against the seatback either. :D

Four bits of tubular steel duly welded.

Will have to consider getting some new seats - for aesthetic purposes as well.
