BTW when you use increased sized wheels you should be aware that your speedometer will understate your speed and you might get caught speeding.

You have to use the overall diameter of the wheel AND tyre (or tire) to determine the difference.

Doug, my dia and circumference is exactly the same now with the 13" wheels and tyres as it was with the 12" wheels and tyres, so the speedo is spot on, the point I was trying to highlight was that just referring to the cables being for 12" or13" wheels could lead to confusion is someone not as knowlegable as yourself was to look at the tyre size and come to the conclusion they were 13" wheels and then buy the cables for 13" wheels when they should have been 12" wheel cables, long winded if you know what I mean.........FF

Uh huh. :D

Seriously though, if the dia is the same , when you have the 13" wheels are you using a lower profile tire?

My handbook appears to have fallen out or been blown out of the 'Glove' compartment.
Then again it could have been stolen.
Do you happen to have a spare knocking around?

Don't worry Doug, yours is meant to have 13" wheels. :)

Yes they are a lower profile tyre, because other wise the rear wheels would foul the swinging arm brackets.............FF
