Rust in the Channel

Freewheeling banter.....anything goes as long as it's clean and nothing to do with Mokes.

Rust in the Channel

Post by Anthony McKay »

My bottom windscreen channel is full of rust holes. The two brackets on each end are good. If I want to replace the channelling and weld on the old brackets, what can I use to make up the channel?

Right, it takes two mini doorframes to fix your problem.
These are mostly in good condition, as for the doorpanels they are mostly eaten away by rust.
You can bent the bows by heating and you have enough framework to make a copy of the Moke-ones.

Succes
Mokes are made to drive, not to rest in pieces
