dkw, the main problem is usually around the underside of the gear stick. The standard moke exhaust has a kinked section to fit round the mount for the selector box. If you try to fit a larger diameter pipe, its an awkward fit and often ends up having to go under the mount, which means its likely to hit the road.

Usual practice around here is to get an exhaust fitter to bend up the odd shaped pieces and fit them together with straight sections of pipe, but Maniflow have a thing called a link pipe that is much tidier. Dean has one fitted to one of his fleet.

The Maniflow was a lovely fit on my 1980 Cali although this was for a Cooper freeflow system and not an LCB. However, my purchase of several other 1980 models has revealed a possible problem with Maniflows link pipe.
As some of you may remember (Tim obviously does!) Maniflow used my Moke to make the pattern but I have noticed on some of my later aquisitions that there are different types of underfloor fixing points for the gearchange selector box.
The Moke that Maniflow measured up on had two lugs with two captive nuts to attach the box to, however my other Mokes of the same vintage have a longer lug (or rail even) with three different positions to mount the box to. At least I assume this is for fixing the box to, maybe it was to mount something else (for the planned 4WD's maybe?).
Anyway, the thing I immediately thought of was the Maniflow link pipe. Will it clear the longer rail? I don't have the Moke with the Maniflow pipe now so I can't check.

They were in one of the Mokelist folders Bob, not sure if they still are so I've uploaded them to the Club's album under "Technical" (a new folder to aid identification of parts and maintenance procedures).

Do you only have the small mountings or the longer rail?
Are you considering buying the Maniflow setup? I can give you the part numbers if you want.

Minispares now do an LCB manifold that joins up before it turns the bend - this means there's only one pipe to deal with round the remote housing. It makes things a lot easier - and you can use pretty much standard Mini items
