You can be seen as a ''Member'', ''Hidden'' or ''Guest''.

Since one can join/log in under an assumed /pen name what is the point or reason for having the ''Hidden'' facility?

I suppose you could then login to check PM's etc without anyone knowing you've been.

I log out, then if some one else looks at any of the pages they don't cancel my "unread posts" markers
