What is it?

Freewheeling banter.....anything goes as long as it's clean and nothing to do with Mokes.

What is it?

Post by Doug G »

#0000BF]I spotted a metal bit on the road as I was driving along.

It is a solid metal cylinder about 50mm long and 30mm in diameter lightly knurled around the side. There is also a smaller solid cylinder about 12mm long and 12mm diameter sticking out at each end (no knurling). It looked like it would not rust that quickly - in relation to a Mini Moke part.

Yes, I now realise it, I should post a picture. But it is more fun(?) this way.
OK I will post a picture . . . soon.

I stopped, backed up and picked it up. Well you never know it may very well have come from my vehicle on the way there.

However, I have no idea what it is used for.

Any (polite and helpful) suggestions?
