Extended radius arms for moke

Accidentaly came upon this site in sri lanca with some interesting experiments.....does this stack up?

I've seen that one before. Its quite ingenious, but wouldn't pass Australian engineering standards. They do some great stuff in Sri Lanka to keep their Mokes on the road.

But surely the rear panel would need modifying too to clear the wheels

Yes they would. I can't tell if this is exactly the same moke, but its on his homepage.

Have a look at their pictures from International Moke Day last year. http://www.mightymini.lk/Gallery/IMMoke2010.html Many of the cars show a fair bit of improvisation, handmade panels etc, but the quality of the cars is extraordinary. Very few of the Mokes that we got to IMD last year would come up to the standard of their worst one, they obviously take enormous pride in the appearance of them.
