Hi Fred, think you are going to have to find someone with an English and lay them on top of each other to see the difference. There must be someone reading this thats not to far away located in the Northwest, suprised no one has offered up yet

I've noticed that quite a few people ask questions like this which can probably be answered by meeting other Moke owners or viewing their Mokes. Unfortunately there is often no location for the poster and I'm sure that this discourages people from replying with offers of help. I don't think there are any security issues over giving out your home county and it may help you to make useful contacts.

PJ, that is a sound idea, especially as we have members all over the world.

The people with no address info seem to be the ones with few posts, perhaps they are newbies who haven't yet filled in the details form fully yet

hi fred, have just seen your post...I have an English morris moke and live in Lancaster!...You are welcome to inspect the moke or I could take the tape measure to the hood irons?
You are right that they do lose their original shape and RUNAMOKE supply their new hoods with a paper template to check them...sadly mine was missing !...ken 8)

Hi Ken thanks for the interest the measurement I need is the centre support lower rod from the body fixing point to where it is joined to the branch bracket as mine appears to have been extended or was broken and welded back if you could run a tape over that I would be most grateful as that is the only piece I need to fabricate for the new bow I have made regards Fred

I hope I got the right measurment fred, but the distance from hole centre (pivot point on front hood) to the bottom of the bracket where the iron bends back and the front bow pivots ) is 262MM...any further questions please ask...ken :P
