You're right Graham..... I must say though, that without it, the forum just wouldn't be the same.... The seller states that this is last chance. I hope not.... I have scoured the web for a Jimini that made 10K at auction but to no avail....
Here is a pristine looking late one that sold for a good price at £1995 http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C211709
quite interesting that it is described as in really good state considering its age... and in the same breath stating that it needs....
#FF0000]This is what needs doing to it...
- 4 x new tyres (approx £100) less on ebay!!
- Get the engine running again
-New Battery
- some minor welding in foot wells
-Some painting & general TLC!!!
Then its go...[/color],
So if someone buys it, then buys a complete English Moke, with great panels, paint and... running... not forgetting the tyres at £25 a pop etc and removes the body from the 'chassis' and subsequently removes the Jimini conversion from the '1963 Moke prototype chassis ", then ... final step, transplant the 60's English Moke 'body' onto the '1 of 2' prototype 1963 chassis..... he's going to have something really special Count me in...... NOTTTTT!
