Hibernation.
I know its getting colder and some Mokes have probably been tucked up in nice warm garages for the winter, but have all you guys gone into hibernation as well?
If you are not out and about in your Mokes you must then have time on your hands to be coming on here with all your news, progress on restorations, or any other info that the rest of us would love to read and then take the mick out of.
Cheers
Chris

Re: Hibernation.
What are you talking about? Its just warming up here.
Unfortunately mine is making a worrying exhaust blowing sound (the one that often precedes the scraping sound that is made as the bottom of the extractors drop off and slide along the road). I just haven't had time to get underneath and check it, so despite today being warm and sunny I had to commute in my grown-up's car.
Even hotter tomorrow, so I'd better get on to it.
In other developments I'm part way through fitting a rear seat, which is intended to allow the whole family to come along.

Wally, if you're looking for something to do, I've got more than I'd like in the workshop right now, pop over and give a mate a hand
Old Mokers never die, they just smell that way.

Spider ,
I would love to exchange this cold damp weather for your sunny and warm climate, and would love to come and help with your overflowing workshop, but its a long way! and the dog (and wife) would miss me toooooo much.
I have something to do next week, i.e. braving the winter weather to take the Moke to the Classic Car Show at the NEC, we will have 4 English Mokes on the Club stand, it being still within the 50 years celebrations.
Thanks to you and Tim for 'posting' good to hear from you guys!
Cheers

Deano,
It was raining that hard, like rain you've never seen, proper hard rain...... So hard it was bouncing back up again! Hence the scientific -4" of warm rain. Simple!

Re: Hibernation.
It would seem that we have gone into hibernation due to the British/northern climes winter, at that very time when members are not mocking.
