London to Brighton 17 May
Roll up Roll up!
Yes, it's that time of year to apply for the 'L2B' run! We have our own camping area at Crystal palace for those who wish to join in on the Saturday, a meander through Moke type country lanes....well, after Croydon, to our reserved parking area on Brighton seafront!
It's the 30th year of this run, so if you've not entered before....it's about time! As usual, all you have to do is send me the Registration number and year of your car, 'T' shirt size...lets try and not make them all XXXL this year...an A5 SAE, and a cheque for £30 to the Mini Moke Club, and I'll do the rest!
It's the 30th year, it's £30 to enter, lets see if we can get 30 Mokes!

Hi Chris, as discussed Tina and I will put together the Moke stand again from 7am on the day, hopefully will have at least one flag and one banner but if you can supply any more that would be great.

Hi Steve
I have the tickets here! I am always wary of posting important items like these over a holiday period, so I'll be sending them out on Monday 13th April from the main Post Office in Hove. To all entrants...... We have had a request from LSMOC for 5 Marshals on the Sunday......Volunteers welcomed!!! Please contact me if you are willing to assist!!

Re: London to Brighton 17 May
Hi Guys and Girls
I was wondering if there might be a spare seat for Sunday to get down to Brighton from Crystal Palace? I would really like to come along but have two issues. Firstly my moke is in bits as I'm part way through an engine transplant which probably wont be finished. And I have had my driving license temporarily revoked from medical reasons. I'm sure Chris will remember as I had a head full of staples!!
I would have a bag with a small tent and sleeping bag in it with me. I would like to come down from Lincoln via the train to CP then on with the club to Brighton and then get the train back from Brighton to Lincoln.
otherwise I will catch the train straight to Brighton instead.
if I was to get hitch a lift there would be some kind of perk involved from me!!

Also, as technology has gently passed me by and
I,m not sure if Gary received my message. Linda and I will
Be at CP on Sunday am. Looking forward to giving Gary a
Lift as he did not let me down at last years LNYDP. However, we do have to leave at 3pm as we have been given free tickets to see Eric Clapton in the Royal Albert Hall in the evening. Andy.
