Re: Moking Issue 161 & 391
Having just got mine too I'm presuming that issue 391 is specially timed so that Dougs will arrive on time
And ...... why do they have backwards number plates in the future?

Re: Moking Issue 161 & 391
Hi Guys and Girls. having read the magazine, I find my copy has 2 articles that appear to be duplicated. I have 2 Nanago trips and 2 The Death of Twenge. Does any one else have this anomaly?

No, just the one of each in mine.
Perhaps your copy was meant for a Twini Moke owner?
Great job on the Moking Magazine by the way, thoroughly enjoyed it.

I hope you didn't have to pay extra postage for the overweight envelope?

We used a new printer for this issue and yours is the second comment I've received along these lines. If anyone else has been short changed please let us know so we can take appropriate measures

Thank you Jezz for your kind words, and continued support with pictures and trips with Andy Woolhouse. Even though you are not members of the committee, you always find time and trouble to respond to the deadline for the next mag. Its unlikely I will ever do anything as ambitious as the last mag, as it has not been as well received as I expected it to be, which is fine by me, but I just need feedback from the membership. Its not that I want to achieve cult status, but hey ho a bit off direction and response would be appreciated. The next magazine deadline is 15th May - see how we go. Roy

Re: Moking Issue 161 & 391
My Issue 161 &391 arrived today in a 'clear' envelope.
However on opening the magazine everything seemed in order up and including page 40, then there are pages 24- 1 the back cover which are upside down.
All of which had me confused (mispublication?) until I read Roy's 'Committee News Editorial[/il' on page 3 of the Issue 161 section.
I am, unless great strides and advances are made in medicine, unlikely to be around to see to the forecast extinction of the internal combustion engine in 2064, Hopefully my son and daughter will be and I hope that P3645 will be around and running
All in all a good fun read.
Well done all.

Re: Moking Issue 161 & 391
Has anyone received replacements yet for the misprint mags? I found mine pretty confusing. Many pages missing and also duplicated. It was a job to know which side of the mag the article was meant to be on Craig Watson's article - the second p24 - is in the 391 orientation. It seems to be a 'current day' article, or have I not found the futuristic subtleties in it? Judging by the duplications mentioned, I think my mag was even more scrambled. 21 and 22 following 11, then 14 and 15, then 24, and next 40, and sort of the same when starting at the other end of the magazine. Anyway, hope to be able to enjoy it properly soon.

Sorry for the delayed reply jan but I was checking befor I replied. You were sent a replacement copy the first time you asked, if you gave Mark your correct address then the missing magazine can only be down to the French postal service!
Nevertheless, a third copy was dispatched franceward yesterday
