English Light/Horn/Turn Indicator Stalk

Post by werthie »

Greetings!

I have a '67 English Moke with the indicator stalk that has the horn (push in), lo/hi beams, and turn signals . . . The headlight part of the switch is very loose, so that it won't stay in the lo beam position. Either the headlights go out altogether, or i have to leave it on hi beams . . . The turn signals and horn work fine.

Is there any way to "tighten" the headlight portion of the switch, or do i need a new one? If the latter, can someone provide a part number and a source for ordering?

Many thanks to all!

P.S. I don’t think the stalk can be tightened up. Also, if minispares is too faraway/ expensive at least you’ll have the part number from the link.

I know there will be cheaper places than minispares, I just purloined their picture to make sure we’re all talking about the same thing.

Many thanks for your help!! I just ordered an indicator on eBay (half the price of MiniSpares).
