It takes FOUR(4) months to build a 'MOKE' ?

TESLA : Tesla takes 40 steps and 90 minutes to produce a Model 3 at the Fremont Factory.
Other Tesla individual vehicles take between three and five days to complete the assembly process. The assembly line moves at a speed of 5 cm/s.

I suspect (electric vehicle or not) they (Moke America) will not sell many in the Caribbean.

EG St.KItts and Nevis, Import Duty, VAT, Customs Service Charge are added to the Cost, Insurance and the Freight, resulting an import charge of approximately 85%.

Other Caribbean islands are higher e.g. Barbados is over 100%.

I applied for a dealership and saw the dealers price . Almost needless to say, the vehicle is priced out to the general market

On their price $26,975 USD (excluding the freight and duty etc on it) would have to be in excess of US$46,000.00.
Then once freight and duty etc is added on it, together with landing charges, wharfage, customs brokerage an all the other add-ons you are looking at a vehicle of around or over US$50,000.00.

I certainly will NOT be buying one.

doug.. these e moke that Moke America.. are made at the same plant in Wuhu Volibear.. in Wuhu China.. the same plant as you bought your six petrol mokes from AE at Moke Int Ltd.. you know all the rust problems you had with them. these e moke have got WORSE. paint falls off in big chunks .. rusty bolts everywhere and mere 25 mile range on full charge. with 25 MPH top speed... later bc
